Why God?

Why God? Why all the wars, the murders, the assaults, the rapes? It's so very hard to understand. It is obvious that God has given us Free Will (perhaps too much Free Will) to do as we please; to learn as we go through life. For some reason, far beyond my comprehension, God has given us free reign on this earth... to make it a Heaven or to make it a Hell.
Whatever God's plan may be, I am committed to make my little corner of this world a place of Peace and Serenity.
